The match of the 2026 World Cup qualifying cycle between the national teams of Moldova and Italy will be officiated by a Ukrainian team of referees. This was reported by the UAF press service.

Mykola Balakin, who will be assisted by Volodymyr Vysotskyi and Oleksandr Berkut, has been appointed as the chief arbiter. The role of reserve referee went to Klym Zabrody.

Denys Shurman and Dmytro Panchyshyn will be responsible for the VAR system.

The match between Moldova and Italy will take place tomorrow, November 13, at 21:45 Kyiv time.

After six games, Norway and Italy lead Group I with 18 and 15 points respectively. They are followed by Israel and Estonia (seven matches each) – nine and four points. Moldova closes the table with one point after six meetings.
