The Government of Ukraine decided to remove Herman Galushchenko from the duties of the Minister of Justice.
Prime Minister Yuliya Svyridenko informed about it through Telegram after the extraordinary meeting, noting that the performance of duties is entrusted to Ludmila Suhak, Deputy Minister of Justice for European Integration.
The reasons for the suspension are currently not specified, but this decision may have significant consequences for the work of the Ministry of Justice, especially in the context of European integration.
It is expected that the new acting minister will be able to make changes to the department’s development strategy.
The reaction of society and political experts to this event should be expected in the near future.
“Scheme” journalists reported the names of all those involved in the “Midas” operation who received suspicion from NABU. There are eight of them. As of now, five people from the list of suspects have been detained. Two of them – Timur Mindych and Oleksandr Zukerman – left Ukraine.
