Oleksandr USYK: “I won him at cards, they were some bandos”

Absolute world champion Oleksandr Usyk told how he started cooperation with Bohdan Saliy – CVO of the Ready to Fight platform.

“I want to explain how a team is formed. The Lord sends me exactly the people I need. As an Orthodox Christian, I believe in Jesus. He gives me people who help me in different directions – both to develop and to take a step back. It’s not my fault, I’m just holding on to them.

Once we even won someone at cards – that was already the situation. Two lives were at stake against one: either mine would be taken away, or Bohdan Saliy’s. I say: “Let’s play cards.” And I won it from serious Chinese. They were real bandos – with weapons, tough guys. And we came confidently. I say, “Let’s play.” He speaks Chinese and French. While working with them, I learned a little,” Usyk said.
