The day before, Kudrivka beat Kyiv Obolon in a nominally home match of the eleventh round of the Ukrainian Premier League at the Obolon Arena.

After the game, Kudrivka midfielder Artur Dumanyuk commented on the performance of his own team.

“It’s always nice to score goals, especially in a match like this, so to speak, to win by 6 points. Now we’re breaking away from the zone of transition matches — and we can already breathe a little.

The first half I think was under our control, we created chances, and in the second half Oboloni had to play for that goal, they put pressure on us and we fought back most of the time. This is a good, fighting team, but, thank God, luck was on our side.

To say that there is something so incredible in the Obolon Arena – no. This is Oboloni Stadium, we rent it. We are also the hosts here, but only when there are no Kyiv residents. So there is nothing like that here. It was an interesting game, and the stronger won,” said the Ukrainian performer.

In the next round, Kudrivka will host Kovaliv Kolos.
