Former Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the current Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Valery Zaluzhny commented on the victory of the Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik (24-0, 15 ko) over the British Daniel Duba (22-3, 21 ko):
“I congratulate Alexander on a confident victory. A victory that is dedicated not only to our soldiers, but to all of us.
We need to understand that we do not have another option other than winning. As Alexander did not have him. Therefore, he not only fought, but also hard and persistently prepared. He was preparing to count only on his own strength. He knew he needed and went to it.
