Details: The incident happened at about 2:00 pm local time, when the VIF storm began to approach the coast from the South Chinese Sea. The tourist boat, on board 53 people, spilled over in the waters of the Halong Bay, one of the most famous tourist places in the country.

According to the State Vietnamese news agency, as of Saturday evening, rescuers found the bodies of 27 dead, including eight children. Another 11 people managed to save.
According to the local edition of Vnexpress, most passengers were residents of the capital Vietnam – Hanoi.
