Russia declares 40 “Ukrainian drones” in seven regions during the evening

The Russian Defense Ministry states that on the evening of July 19, Russian air defense allegedly intercepted and destroyed 40 “Ukrainian drones” over the Russian Federation. Seven regions, including Moscow, were struck.

Details: According to the defense department of Russia, most of the drones – 21 – allegedly shot over the territory of the Bryansk region. Nine more – above the Kaluga region. Four UAVs – above the territory of the Moscow region, including two – on the run to Moscow. In addition, two drones were allegedly intercepted over the Kursk region and over the Black Sea. One at a time – above the Tula and Belgorod regions.

Prehistory:

• On the eve of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the evening of July 18, their air defense allegedly shot down 87 “Ukrainian drones”.
• On the night of July 19, drones attacked 9 regions of Russia, including Moscow, Bryansk, Orlovsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, and restrictions on flights were imposed at airports.
