The 13th number of the world rating Casper Rud was defeated by Argentine Juan Manuel Cherundolo (109th Racket) in three sets. In the decisive party, Rud won 3-0 with two breaks, but gave six games in a row. In addition to Rudo, Cherundolo also passed Jana-Lennard Struff and David Goffen.

The next rival of Juan Manuel will be Peruvian Igasio Busya. Busi in the quarterfinals knocked Roman Andres Burruguh, and earlier he also coped with Laszlo Dier and Kamil Mykhzhak. Igasio started with qualification, where he was stronger than Albert Ramos and Patrick Zhraya.

Arthur Kazo and Alexander Bublik will come together in the semi -final confrontation at the bottom of the grid. The Frenchman managed to pass Nicolas Basilashvili, Thomas Martin Etcheverri and Zhroma Kima, and Kazakhstan coped with Alexander Shevchenko and Francesko with the Commission.

Of all four semi-finalists, only the busters are in the TOP-100-it is 34.

The semifinals in GSTAAD will be held on Saturday, July 19.
