The one -engine version of Darts has a maximum useful weight of 8 kg. It is reported that the new DARTS in combat conditions is tested with a load of more than 8 kg, which the device is tolerated without problems. According to the developers, the two-engine version has an advantage over a single-engine model due to increased load capacity up to 12-14 kg.
As mentioned above, the updated Darts are involved in the UAVs, capable of hitting targets at a distance of 40 km. The manufacturer’s representative noted that during the preliminary demonstration, the drone fled for 45 km, took several measures for a conditional target and returned with a reserve of energy. This was made possible by two built -in batteries.
The company is also working on the integration of the air repeater, which should expand the functionality of the drone. It is expected that the next stage of the tests will be presented new technical solutions that are relevant to the front.
The Brave1 project conducts a series of demonstrations to select drones that meet the technical requirements. The details of these requirements are not disclosed for safety reasons.
In May, the state cluster Brave1 also conducted trials of shock drones, which will be able to hit targets up to 30-40 km. Then a single -engine version of the Darts drone and other drones, including Hunter Killer, R2D2 and Siromakh, was displayed.
The main idea of the event was the creation of a mass drone, which can easily fly to a target up to 40 km, which will effectively destroy enemy warehouses, equipment, air defense systems and keep the routes of supply of Russians. This is stated in a separate article “Declaims”.
