To assign the title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Order of the Golden Star by Tsybukh Irina Vladimirovna – a public figure, the head of the crew of a volunteer battalion “Hospitaliers” (posthumously) “, – the decree reads.
The paramedic of the Hospitalie Volunteer Battalion 25-year-old Irina Tsybukh with the call sign “Check” died on Wednesday, May 29, in the Kharkiv direction.
On June 2, a farewell with the fallen heroine Irina Tsybukh on the Pseudo “Check” took place in Kyiv. The farewell service was performed at the Michael Cathedral, after which the coffin was transferred to the Independence Square.
The Ukrainian combat medicine and journalist Irina Tsybukh posthumously received the name of Mary O’Hegen for their outstanding achievements in the field of gender equality and female leadership. The award ceremony took place at the eighth Ukrainian Women’s Congress.
