The co-founder of KO Promotions, Oleksandr Kolesnikov, in an exclusive comment for Sport.ua, talked about the next fight of a promising Ukrainian heavyweight boxer – Oleksandr Hrytsiv.

“The next fight of Oleksandr Hrytsiv will take place on December 7 in the undercard of the fight between Pulev and Char, who will be boxing for the WBA world champion belt.

Oleksandr’s opponent will be a boxer from Poland, but with Ukrainian roots – Serhiy Verveyko. This eight-round fight will be a good experience for Alexander to box on such a powerful show, where there will be a lot of viewers and broadcast on DAZN.

We are gradually but surely moving forward. I expect a good fight in which Sasha will pass this opponent and we will be able to move on to our next goals,” said Kolesnikov.

Oleksandr Hrytsiv had 8 fights in the professional ring and won 8 victories (6 by knockout). In September 2024, he entered the ring for the last time – he defeated the Czech Adam Kolarik by unanimous decision of the judges. The fight lasted all allotted eight rounds.
