On the night of November 29, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia dispersed the ongoing protests near the parliament. According to the Georgian editorial office of Radio Liberty, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and European Pravda, law enforcement officers used water cannons and tear gas. 43 people were detained.

Clashes took place at night on Chichinadze Street, adjacent to the Parliament. The police used a water cannon and pepper spray to disperse them. Demonstrators responded by throwing things at law enforcement officers eggs and other items. According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the action exceeded the norms established by the law on assemblies and demonstrations.

According to Georgian publications, during the dispersal of the action, one and a half dozen media representatives were injured. Among the victims is a journalist and TV presenter of the Formula TV channel Guram Rogava. His head was broken, blood was coming from his mouth and nose.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reported that 43 people were detained during the clashes. The department opened administrative cases for petty hooliganism and disobedience to the police. An investigation is also ongoing under criminal articles of assault on a police officer and damage to property. The report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also states that 32 police officers were injured during the rally.
