US President-elect Donald Trump has appointed retired general Keith Kellogg as his special representative for Ukraine and Russia.
Earlier, advisers to the ex-president of the USA, Keith Kellogg and Fred Fleitz, proposed to deprive Ukraine of American support and arms supplies until Kyiv agrees to peace talks with Russia. Ukraine can try to return the lost territories, but it will have to be done diplomatically, the WSJ noted.
Kellogg served as White House National Security Council chief of staff during Trump’s 2017-2021 presidency and as national security adviser to then-Vice President Mike Pence.
