President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavsky, who took part in the Third International Summit on Food Security Grain from Ukraine in Kyiv.

“We are glad that we have good relations at the level of leaders and strong ties between our nations. Thank you for being with us since the beginning of the full scale invasion. There are many initiatives from your side to help Ukraine, including artillery. We are grateful to you for everything,” said the President.

During the meeting, they discussed defense support, the implementation of the initiative to supply artillery shells, and cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic in countering Russian disinformation.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi also noted the active participation of the Czech Republic in the reconstruction of Ukraine, in particular, he thanked for the initiative to increase the funding of the National Program for the Reconstruction of Ukraine after 2025, which is aimed at restoring critical infrastructure.

During the meeting, they also agreed on the next steps for the development of bilateral cooperation, including future contacts at the highest level.
