The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported more than 190 combat clashes at the front per day

The situation at the front remains difficult. During the past 24 hours, 194 combat clashes were recorded, according to the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on November 23.

“In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 44 assault actions of the aggressor in the direction of Myrolyubivka, Promeny, Lysivka, Sukhoi Yar, Pustinka, Hryhorivka, Dachenskyi, Petrivka and Pushkini,” the message states.

According to the headquarters, in the Kurakhiv direction, the Defense Forces repelled 36 Russian attacks in the areas of Berestki, Sontsivka, Dalnyi, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhivka, Katerynivka, Romanivka, and Antonivka.

“In the Vremivsk direction, the enemy carried out 30 assaults on our positions in the areas of Trudovoy, Kostiantynopolsky, Rozlyv, Rozdolny, Suhy Yaliv and Novodarivka,” the Armed Forces of Ukraine say.

Also, Russian troops do not stop their attacks in the Kharkiv, Kupyan, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Orihiv, and Dnieper directions.

The American Institute for the Study of War stated in its report on November 17 that the Russian army will probably focus in the winter of 2024-2025 on capturing front-line Ukrainian cities and on urban battles.

According to the project of Radio Liberty Donbas.Realii, the main battle of the winter will obviously be the battle for Pokrovsk, to which the Russian army is approaching from the south and southeast.
