Emma’s death makes a deep impression on the talented scientist and he decides to do everything possible to turn back time and save the girl. Oleksandr has to learn bitterly that the past cannot be changed. Testing his theories with a time machine of his own invention, Hartdegen travels 800,000 years into the future, where he discovers that humanity has split into hunters and the hunted.
