Ukrainian tennis player Elizaveta Kotlyar (WTA 1215) failed to win a trophy at the ITF W15 clay tournament in Varna (Bulgaria).

In the final, the 17-year-old Ukrainian lost to the second seed in two sets Georgia Krechun (Romania, WTA 448) in 1 hour and 30 minutes.

This was the first meeting of the rivals.

Kotlyar played in the finals at the professional level for the first time in her career. Previously, she reached the 1/2 final stage as much as possible – in August 2022, she reached the semifinals at the 15,000th race in Bydgoszcz.

Kotlyar is the first racket of Ukraine among juniors, occupying the 20th place in the world ranking of ITF Juniors.
