When asked if there is a possibility that Ukraine will receive permission to strike deep into the Russian Federation before the elections in the USA, Chernev answered:
“I do not believe that they can take any drastic steps before the elections. They are very cautious today, including Biden, as a representative of the Democratic Party. Therefore, they are unlikely to give us anything before the elections.”
He also commented on the statement of the head of the British Foreign Ministry, David Lammy, that Britain expects permission to strike Russia with Western weapons before the beginning of winter.
Chernev noted that he hopes that all this permission will be earlier than before winter.
