IBF world champion Jay Opetaya shared his opinion about the upcoming rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.
“I am very interested to see the rematch. Tyson said that he felt very confident in the first half of the fight with Usyk. I think if he starts with a clean slate, makes some adjustments, then we will see his best fight.
Usyk is a beast. I thought a good big boxer should beat a good small fighter. If Tyson works on a few things, we’ll see what happens,” Opetaia said.
Earlier, Turki Al-Sheikh announced that the rematch between WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and ex-WBC champion Tyson Fury will take place on December 21, 2024.
