He noted that strong gusts of wind and drought made it difficult to extinguish the fire. Employees of the State Emergency Service, local fire brigade, foresters, police and volunteers were involved in the work. During the hot phase, more than 400 people worked around the clock. Rescuers from Cherkasy and Vinnytsia regions came to help. Four fire engines and about 80 pieces of equipment were involved, including from agricultural enterprises.
Currently, the highest class of fire danger is established in the territory of the region.
