Previously, the driver of a DAF tanker truck, a 64-year-old resident of the city of Kremenchuk, crashed into a roadblock on the border of Rivne and Zhytomyr regions for unknown reasons.
A 40-year-old policeman died as a result of the accident. Two more people, a 28-year-old dog trainer and a 27-year-old military serviceman, were seriously injured and are in the hospital.
The driver of the truck received minor injuries, according to the examination, he is sober. Investigators detained him in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine
As a result of the collision, the service car of the community police officer was also damaged. The law enforcement officer himself was not injured.
The tank was filled with gas, it was not depressurized.
