According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, the Russians hit the hospital twice. As a result of the first strike, one person died, the ceiling of several floors of the medical facility was destroyed. After rescuers and policemen arrived at the scene and the evacuation began, the occupiers struck again.
One policeman was among the dead. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one more law enforcement officer was injured.
10:35 a.m. According to preliminary data, after nighttime enemy attacks, Sumy was attacked by three more enemy attack UAVs, two of which hit the hospital, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said.
