About 100 students of grades 9-11 were present in the audience, who were shown a video with frank episodes of abortion – the scraping of the fetus from a woman. At the same time, the organizers of the event – representatives of the “Positive Virus” youth movement – suggested particularly vulnerable schoolchildren to turn away.
“The lecture was not only about abortion, they also talked about promiscuous sexual relations and drugs. Except for this one frame, everything was fine, it is not even clear why it was so scattered. But, of course, they overdid it a little – suddenly someone has a weak nervous system, for example,” one of the students of the mentioned school told ASTRA.
At the same time, the lecturer – the head of “Positive Virus” Vadym Zharov – told schoolchildren about the statistics of abortions and stated that termination of pregnancy can lead to infertility or the death of a pregnant woman.
A video with part of Zharov’s lecture also got into social networks. The head of the organization told the students:
“After learning about her pregnancy, a girl comes to a women’s consultation. And the first thing the doctor asks her is not about how you want to give birth to a healthy child and have a pregnancy, but about how you want to terminate the pregnancy… They ask not to show “.
He told ASTRA that this part of the program (abortion) was not agreed with the school administration, so the teachers asked to turn off the video. Journalists asked the man if he understood that such a video should not be shown to children.
“I understand that this is a harsh approach. To some, it may seem excessive, but, unfortunately, it is extremely effective, because people are faced with the truth. After that, it is no longer possible to say that abortion is a safe story, covered with a flair of some mystery. We are partly have bent the stick, but I don’t think that children see less trashy content when they surf social networks without their parents’ permission and scroll through news feeds,” Zharov said.
According to ASTRA, “Positive Virus” is a group of activists from Yaroslavl, participants of the “Train to the Future” federal program. In 2019, activists of this group showed schoolchildren of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk No. 3 frank videos about drugs, bringing minors to tears.
“Positive Virus” cooperates with the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and other organizations, performing in various regions of the Russian Federation for about 10 years. Zharov assures that the program of performances for schoolchildren has not changed since then,” the publication says.
According to “Ostrozhno, novosti”, children were specially gathered in the assembly hall before classes for the lecture, while almost nothing was said about the event in advance. The schoolchildren were only informed that the abortion process would now be shown. According to high school students, many, seeing the abortion close-up, closed their eyes and turned away.
The students also told “Caution, News” that during the lecture they were told that “it is better for the girl to give birth” if the fact of pregnancy is confirmed. One of the eyewitnesses said:
“They showed a documentary about how many abortions take place in Russia every hour and every minute. They said that you can’t have an abortion, because it can be fatal for a girl, that she can become infertile.”
According to the media, in the Sakhalin school, where footage of the abortion was shown, they also talked about the “fire of love”.
“Blood goes to the lower abdomen, urinary pressure builds up, the fire of love flares up, and the guy urgently needs to put it out? How does he try to put it out? He begins to sit on the girl’s ears and say that this is love at first sight, that she is the only one, at which he has been waiting for all his life. Please become the mother of my children and many things. The girl is stunned and says, maybe we will wait until 18 years old? And then the boy says hehe, because he is in love.” Zharov told the children.
“Caution, News” showed a part of this “lecture”, also recorded the reaction of minors – some laugh, others have surprised faces, and some show obscene gestures that “symbolize” sexual intercourse.
It is noted that Zharov has three children, in his publications he often mentions the Bible and prayers.
“Zharov is a minister of the church of evangelical Christians, followers of the World Pentecostal brotherhood. Previously, the man said that he was a minister of the Church of God in Yaroslavl, as part of this activity he created projects promoting the fight against abortion,” the journalists claim.
The fight against “childfree” in the Russian FederationAs reported by UNIAN, in the Russian Federation, large fines will be imposed for “propaganda of conscious rejection of childbearing”. As the speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin, stated, the deputies began to consider the relevant bill – “On the banning of the ideology of childlessness and the “childfree” movement.” Volodin claims that in thematic publics and communities in social networks, they allegedly often show disrespect for motherhood and fatherhood, aggression towards pregnant women and children, as well as members of large families.
Therefore, according to Volodin, it is proposed to ban the promotion of childlessness in the Russian Federation on the Internet, mass media, films and advertising. Also, in the aggressor country, administrative responsibility should be introduced for such “disrespect and aggression”.
