A recording with 11 minutes of gameplay appeared on YouTube.The developers showed the introduction of the game: Snake has just arrived in the mission area and found himself in the Drowsy Forest. His first task was to find a means of communication to contact the Boss.
Not much active gameplay was shown, the developers paid more attention to the interface and cut-scenes. Snake can still climb trees and move stealthily through the jungle, in a demonstration he sneaks up on an alligator and puts the snake to sleep with a dart. From new mechanics: Naked Snake can now be smeared with dirt and become less visible to enemies, but this effect is not permanent, over time the dirt will dry and fall off.
Konami has put a lot of emphasis on the game’s interface. For example, cutscenes can now be paused, and conversations over the walkie-talkie can be rewound. Additionally, you can change Snake’s costume directly from the inventory menu. A hero’s appearance also affects his visibility to enemies. For this, the camouflage scale was brought to the screen, it is affected by Snake’s appearance, degree of dirt contamination and ambient lighting.
The release date of Metal Gear Solid Delta has not been announced. It is known that the game will be available on all current platforms: PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series.
