The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine cooperates with agents in the temporarily occupied territories. For the most part, they transmit information about the actions of the enemy.
This was stated by an unnamed Ukrainian intelligence officer in an interview with Il Foglio.
According to him, the forms of resistance of Ukrainian partisans in the occupation “limitless”. It can be both silent sabotage and active actions. Even drawings on the walls in the colors of the Ukrainian flag can help.
“This is a signal to the occupiers that this is not your land. Our people are nearby, they have not given up on their intention to return their land,” explained the HUR employee.
He noted that the most basic method of cooperation with agents is the transfer of information about the occupiers. This helps the Ukrainian military leadership to make timely decisions.
“We are responding to this information and strengthening our defenses,” he added.
Such information can be not only about military facilities or the movement of Russians, but also about the work of occupation authorities and enterprises. In this case, we are talking about those partisans who receive a Russian passport, go to work, gain the trust of the management and the team and quietly collect the necessary information.
