“Starting October 1, the Pension Fund of Ukraine will recalculate housing subsidies for the heating season of 2024-2025. For most citizens, such recalculation will take place automatically. Also, the subsidy will be automatically transferred to households whose subsidy payment in the summer period was UAH 0,” the message says.
In addition, also without additional requests, a housing subsidy will be charged to those citizens who used the benefit for the payment of housing and communal services (ZhKP) in the summer period.
It is noted that citizens who were not recipients of this assistance from the state and are only planning to receive it, persons who received subsidies and there have been changes in the composition of registered members of the household, should contact the territorial body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
People who did not receive a subsidy for the non-heating period due to debts that were able to be repaid/drafted a restructuring agreement can also apply for a housing subsidy, as well as people who are disputing the issue of arrears from the housing payment in court.
