The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the main principles of the trade policy of the state-owned enterprise “Guaranteed Buyer”.

About this informs Ministry of Energy

The government resolution is aimed at maximizing HarPok’s income, achieving balanced and responsible activity, ensuring fair competition, development of renewable energy, cooperation and integration with adjacent electricity markets.

The message states that the main provisions of the document confirm the principles of the trade policy of the state-owned enterprise and the main directions of their implementation, in particular, how the enterprise will carry out electricity purchase and sale operations in various market segments (under bilateral contracts, on the day-ahead market, on intraday market, settlement of imbalances and export operations).

“The green transformation and development of renewable energy is one of the priorities of the state policy in the field of energy. Defining the principles of the “Guaranteed Buyer” trade policy is an important prerequisite for ensuring the stable functioning of the market and the sale of electricity produced from renewable sources,” said Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko.
