Details: The spokeswoman noted at a briefing on Thursday that the Ukrainian side requested to visit the factory where American workers are employed, and called it a common request from Ukrainians during the war.
She also recalled a similar visit by President Zelensky two months ago in Utah.
“Only two months ago, President Zelenskyi visited Utah and held a very similar event with the Republican governor. Representatives of the Republican Party were present at that event, and there was no demand for an investigation. Therefore, we call on Republicans in the House of Representatives to reject it.” a White House spokeswoman said.
It will be recalled that Republicans in the US Congress initiated an investigation into President Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s visit to Pennsylvania at an ammunition manufacturing plant.
