They admit that they are happy together.
The actors talked about their family / screenshotOn October 14 at 20:00, 1+1 Ukraine will premiere the inspiring and dramatic story “Doctor by Call”, based on the life story of “Okhmatdyt” in the first 50 days of the full-scale invasion.Ukrainian actors Victoria Lytvynenko and Serhii Strelnikov played the main roles. This series is special for them, because for the first time in their career they played a married couple on the screen.
The acting couple leads a rather closed lifestyle – they do not give interviews and do not communicate with the press. However, for Viva! the actors made an exception by appearing on the digital cover. The actors gave a joint long interview for the first time, in which they talked about overcoming obstacles together and jealousy on the set.
In the new TV series “1+1 Ukraine”, the couple will play a couple of doctors on the verge of divorce. Serhii says that the couple faced challenges of fate not only on the screen, but also in reality. The actor admits that thanks to Victoria, he was able to overcome a bad habit:
“Thanks to her (Victoria, editor) I completely eliminated alcohol from my life. It was ruining my health and relationships. She was the impetus. It became clear that something needs to be done about it. Our son does not see us in a state of We don’t have alcohol at home. It’s been seven years. I appreciate it.
Viva’s photoAs Victoria noted, she is grateful to Serhiy that he heard her. “Perhaps the example of our family will give someone a certain impetus. I am very grateful to Sergey that he went to meet me. Realizing that he was ready to go for it, I supported him. Now this has turned into our lifestyle – alcohol-free. It appeared so much strength…” – shared Victoria Lytvynenko.
In an exclusive interview, the actors said that they are an emotional couple. They did not hesitate to play a couple in the TV series “Doctor by Call”. They feel comfortable working together. But playing scenes of betrayal and jealousy was difficult even for such experienced actors as Sergey and Victoria.
“I love my wife. We still remain people, no matter what anyone says about acting professionalism,” Serhii Strelnikov admits.
Victoria also said that sometimes it is difficult to differentiate between work and personal life.
“Probably the highest level of professionalism is when you arrive on the set and forget that this is your husband, you perceive him only as a shooting partner. We somehow have to reach this level. We still remain a couple, and we are not strangers to human emotions, in particular jealousy,” Victoria said.
For the first time, the actors talked about their 5-year-old son Sylvester and how they chose his name. The couple knew immediately that they would have a boy. Serhiy decided on a name right away, he wanted to call his son Sean. However, Victoria managed to convince her husband to consider other options.
“I sat down, opened the book with men’s names and saw Sylvester there. I understood that Strelnikov Sylvester Serhiyevich – nothing could be more beautiful,” Victoria recalled.
Viva’s photoAs Serhii admitted, he immediately liked the name Sylvester. The actor was even upset that he did not come up with such an idea.
“By the way, it is not so rare and unusual for us – it used to be quite widespread in Ukraine before the Bolshevik invasion. By the way, my first teacher at school in the village of Rozkishna of the Stavyshchensk community was named Svitlana Sylvestrivna. Remember Stupka Bohdan Sylvestrovych. And also it’s very convenient when I shout “Silver!” on the playground, only one comes back – my son. This name suits him very well,” said Serhiy Strelnikov.
