In Ukraine, 170,000 vehicles have already been re-registered through Diya.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Leonid Tymchenko said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
“This function became available to citizens on December 20, 2023. To date, 170,000 vehicles have been re-registered through Diya. In this case, we can say that 340,000 people no longer applied to service centers, but did it online,” he said.
The number of vehicle re-registration operations carried out through Diya is about 12% of all vehicle re-registration operations since the service was launched, Tymchenko noted.
“This is actually quite a large and significant percentage. We plan to increase the rate of online re-registrations until we can say that this service is fully automated and citizens do not need to communicate with administrators and visit service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” he said.
In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to create a service for ordering and address delivery of certificates on the presence or absence of a criminal record that require apostillation.
“We are planning innovations regarding the order and issuance of certificates on the presence/absence of a criminal record of a person. Now such a service can be ordered and received online through “Diya” or through the Single Window for citizens. In the future, the Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to create a service for the order and address delivery of certificates of the presence / absence of a criminal record that require apostillation,” said the deputy minister.
In June, about 122,000 vehicles have already been re-registered through Diya in Ukraine.
Earlier we wrote that the Diya application launched a beta test of marriage in a smartphone. With the help of the application, you can apply for marriage and register it, and the ceremony itself will take place via video link.
We will also remind you that thanks to the “sharing” function, Ukrainians can send electronic copies of documents to the necessary institutions through the “Action” application.
