On the night of Thursday, September 26, Russian UAVs attacked energy facilities in several regions of Ukraine. Household and industrial consumers were cut off due to damage, reports NEC Ukrenergo.
According to energy experts, most consumers have already recovered. Work to eliminate the consequences of shelling continues.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine clarified that over the past day due to shelling and fighting there were power cuts in 11 regions – Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv.
In particular, in Kyivska and Ivano-Frankivsk regions as a result of the UAV attack on the substations, the equipment was damaged and a fire broke out, a partial blackout was recorded, work is ongoing.
IN Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of the shelling of the substation, an ignition also occurred, while the overhead line was turned off, consumers were not cut off. Also, the overhead line was turned off during the alarm Odesa region, power has now been restored.
On Chernihiv Oblast as a result of shelling, 1,484 subscribers were without power, the Ministry of Energy adds.
