– What do you think decided the result of today’s match?
– Of course, it is very unfortunate to lose matches, especially at the start, and in general with such a score. But at this level, opponents do not forgive mistakes. We gave the opponent two goals, which were scored through the central zone. We will look at these moments, analyze them, but giving the opponent such a head start is unacceptable.
– After the first half, the ratio of attacks was 31:10 in favor of “Dynamo”. At the same time, “Lazio” converted three of them into scored goals, while “Dynamo” had four shots. Why was there a lack of efficiency up front?
– We went to this game and wanted to play football. It was possible to close, wait, but I want to give my players the opportunity to play football, create combinations, complete them. We had opportunities, but we missed because of mistakes in the center of defense. And it is difficult for me to add something in this regard. It probably shows the class of Lazio – when there are opportunities, they take them.
– “Dynamo” missed a quick ball, then Ceballos left the field due to an injury. How much did all this affect the team’s performance, the events of the second half for us?
– I can’t say that Ceballios’ injury had any particular effect. But, again, I will repeat that we made significant mistakes, and precisely these mistakes in defensive actions. I will not dwell on individual footballers, but in my opinion, we have no right to allow the opponent to pass so easily through the center of the defense and give the opportunity to score goals.
